shop.cravt.by The largest distributor of global manufacturer of cosmetics and perfumery products in Belarus — the Cravt retail chain — has been our client for several years. The first and serious project was an online store. The next step was the development of a mobile application.

About the project

The creation of a mobile application was a necessary step for the development of the company's business:
  • Firstly, many users make purchases from mobile phones.
  • Secondly, the company decided to issue virtual loyalty cards.

Design adapted for mobile use

Our team has significantly redesigned the appearance of the online store for mobile devices: the main website has not changed, but the adaptive version now takes into account more nuances of working from a smartphone. The new design also required a new layout.
The visual part retains the brand corporate style: light, delicate, beautiful, harmoniously combined with the company's beauty products.

Functional

The functionality of the mobile application retains the functionality of the website: search, filters, subscription, ordering, availability of goods (including in the context of stores). The principles of the menu, the list and goods card have been retained too.
We have moved in a special mobile menu functions that customers use more often: shops, shopping cart, favorites, personal account. Minor features were hidden (reviews, detailed description, delivery methods), and the footer was completely disabled.

Virtual cards

To develop the loyalty program, virtual cards have been created. In general, this method is becoming more and more popular: modern consumers are more and more mobile, they don't need to go to the store and fill out questionnaires to receive a card or carry it with them in their wallet later. Besides, virtual cards are more environmentally friendly than traditional plastic ones.

We integrated the exchange with 1C for the «issuance» of virtual cards and implemented a barcode generator by their number. It is enough for a new client to register in the online store — and he immediately receives a loyalty card. It is enough to show the barcode of the card on the screen of the mobile phone to the seller - and the discount will be taken into account even for offline purchases.


Of course, clients still have the opportunity to link a previously issued card to personal account and no longer carry it in the bag.
